BP Settlement Business Center

Welcome to the BP Settlement Business Center, sponsored by The Schuett Law Group. With our team of 19 full time employees, including 3 attorneys and 5 accountants, we work for both businesses and individuals to file claims as quickly as possible. We pride ourselves in getting the maximum possible recovery for all of our clients.

As of June, 2012 the Gulf Coast Claims Facility (GCCF) has been closed and a court-monitored Deep Water Horizon Claims Centers (DHCC) has been set up to compensate BP claimants. At its onset, $7.8 billion were set aside to pay claimants.

We focus on processing BP settlements for businesses, and we are helping new companies every day file their claim with DHCC. If you have never filed a claim, or your claim has been consistently delayed or even denied, we will do whatever it takes to make sure your business gets compensated for losses due to the oil spill.

In August, 2010, when the GCCF began, they went out of their way to block, ignore and delay business claims as much as possible. The GCCF did not want to recognize that damage extended beyond the oil lined beaches, but rather it affected tourism, commerce, and consumer spending throughout the region. Though they did not wish to acknowledge it, many businesses located miles inland lost hundreds of thousands of dollars due to the overall effect on the region’s economy. With the DHCC, they are legally obligated to follow the court ordered settlement, resulting in a better environment for businesses looking to recover damages.
